Itinerary
Day 1 Johannesburg to Umkumbe Safari Lodge
You will be picked up from OR Tambo airport and driven to Umkumbe Safari Lodge. The drive will take about six hours, with stops for refreshments. After arriving at the lodge around midday, you will have time to freshen up and relax before departing on your first afternoon game drive in the reserve in an open safari vehicle. If the weather permits, a delicious starlit dinner will be served at the lodge. You spend the night in luxury at Umkumbe Safari Lodge, and your package includes lunch and dinner.
Day 2-4 Sabi Sand Safari
Before leaving on the morning game drives, get a nice cup of coffee and some rusks after an early wake-up call. See the sun rise over the African bush and hope to spot some stillhunting night-time animals. You will get back at the lodge in time for late breakfasts, and after that, the rest of the days is yours to do as you want. Your game drives for the afternoon will leave at approximately 16h00 and return shortly after dusk, in time for you to relax around the boma and have dinner. Your package includes lodging in one of their luxurious rooms as well as breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Day 5 Return to Johannesburg
You get up early, grab a hot beverage and rusk, and head out on your final morning game drive. You return to the lodge for breakfast after witnessing the sunrise before departing for Johannesburg. You will arrive at OR Tambo around 17h00.

- •You will be picked up and dropped off at any agreed-upon location in Johannesburg.
- •The collection time in Johannesburg is between 06h30 and 07h30, and the drop-off time is between 17h00 and 18h00.
- •Important If you intend to depart from OR Tambo International Airport on the final day of the safari tour, it is best to book a domestic flight that departs after 19h30 or an international flight that departs after 21h00.
